Took the winter beater out to a deserted snow covered parking in an attempt to teach my girlfriend how to recover from a variety of skids. Well, in the whole lot, there was ONE row of snow covered curbs... and now I need a new control arm.

Sucks man.

We almost got busted by police last night, they blocked two exits, but I knew about another back exit they forgot about, and I booked it out that way while the two others got nailed with a ticket.

No police involvement for me, but it was a really a secluded spot. It also helps that VWs are almost silent at WOT.
